Hollowood star and Kenyan actress, Lupita Nyong’o has revealed that meeting Ugandan comedienne Anne Kansiime was one of her 10 best moments in 2015.
She made the confession on social media where she further revealed that Kansiime has kept her laughing with her comedy show – “Don’t Mess With Kansiime”.
She posted: “What a year! Ten memorable moments to reflect on: I met Anne Kansiime, a woman that has kept me laughing all year long with her antics on Don’t Mess With Kansiime. What heart, what spirit!”
Lupita met Kansiime in April this year while she was in the country shooting her movie “Queen of Katwe”, a movie that tells a story of a young chess protege that grew up in the slums of Katwe, Kampala. The two dined together and Kansiime seems to have had a lasting impact on the actress.
