Who is Icey Kiba?
Icey Kiba born 5th May real names Irene Kobugabe, is an artiste doing RnB, Afro Pop, Dancehall and Zouk, in short I am a versatile artiste doing almost all genres of music
When did you start professional music?
I joined the industry early this year around February and have so far released 3 songs Kigwa Lero, Byantunula, and Am in love off my Album my Album “Am in Love” that I am soon finalizing
Who inspired you to start doing music?
I was inspired by my boyfriend who made me realize I had an amazing voice, we used to spend most of our times singing to songs of other artistes until when he told me to try out doing my own music and here I am now
You have such an amazing body, don’t you think fans will fall in love with it than your music?
Well my voice is more beautiful and amazing more than my body, I am sure they will fall in love with it that my body.
How is the industry treating you?
So far so good, my songs are receiving the required air play, and the fan base grows day by day
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I am seeing myself as the biggest female musician in East Africa with a couple of awards
Who are the musicians that inspire you?
Rema does good music with an amazing voice, I love Sheeba’s hustle and also Julliana Inspires me
