Not so often do young people quit their profession to pursue their passion. The story is different for Joel Kiyingi Asiimwe, a once junior lecturer at Makerere University for 5 years and teacher at St.Mark’s college Namagoma, who quit all his well paying jobs to follow his photography dream and passion.

Joel aka Joz Media is well known as a camera magician when it comes to photography. He has worked with different brands like Hi Skul Kadanke, Mun*G, Judith Heard and is currently the official creative Director of Photography and Assistant personal manager with Eddy Kenzo and also assistant Manager with Judith Heard.

Joel holds a bachelor’s Degree from Makerere in Industrial Art and Design. Joel knew what he wanted and lives to tell his dream working with BET winner Eddy Kenzo.

“Am so grateful that today I live my dream. Have always wanted to be associated with big brands and Names and today, I am living my dream. What has kept me going is work and prayer. I have many friends internationally and locally because of my good work and my determination is to deliver to my best.” He proudly reveals.
