Uganda has had 8 presidents since its independence in 1962, today we bring you the First Ladies among these presidencies that were the most beautiful, those who you couldn’t afford to ignore as a man with feelings. These First ladies are in no particular order.
1. Naabakyaala Damalie Catherine Nnakawombe, the Naabagereka, daughter of Christopher Kisosonkole of the Nkima clan
She was officially married to Sir Edward Mutesa on 19 November 1948 at St. Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe. She rocked as one of the most beautiful Uganda First Ladies Ever and probably the most natural and one with the most competitors considering that the Kabaka had at least 13 women during his reign as President including Lady Ngatho, a kikuyu from Kenya.
2. Janet Museveni
She’s been ranked as one of the most descent First Ladies in Africa. She’s also the woman behind the famous “Janet” cut. For over 20 years, she’s played the part of First Lady and looked after the ever young President Museveni making her one of the most beautiful First Ladies Uganda has had since independence. President Museveni married her in August 1973.
3. Kay Amin
Probably the most youthful First Lady and most gorgeous First Lady that Uganda has ever had. She suffered a brutal death. Officially, Amin had five wives, all of whom he treated as ‘First Ladies’ at different functions. They included Kay Amin, Nora Amin, Medina Amin, Sarah Amin and Malyamu Amin. Her massive booty and boobs put her on this list as she was unchallenged in this field according to maids who worked in State House in the 70s.
4. Lady Irene Marjorie Kabamoli Binaisa
Probably the shortest serving First Lady in the history of Uganda. The 65-year-old Irene Marjorie Kabamori, suffered a stroke in 1992 and later developed breast cancer before passing away in 2003. Kabamori was linked to Toro kingdom’s ruling Babito clan. She hailed from a noble clan, the Bagahi and this explains why she was one of the most beautiful First Ladies we’ve ever had.
5. Miria Obote
Has there been a First Lady as beautiful, as classy and as ambitious as Miria Obote? She’s the only First Lady in the history of Uganda to have had a super popular wedding. She’s also been the only First Lady in Uganda to have been behind the famous ballroom dances, many of which she organized in State House where she did tango with the husband, Milton Obote.
