The modelling industry today is ever changing and every day the stereotypes of modelling and fashion are being broken.
Etiang Joseph is testament to this. He is a young aspiring model with a dream of breaking through this deadlock as he considers himself as one who falls outside the provincial standards and requirements in fashion commonly referred to as unconventional.
He insists that height, weight, and beauty are nowadays no longer seen as hindrances for one to succeed in the fashion industry. He believes in uniqueness and being creative. He also believes that hard work pays and “Every dream is valid”.
Joseph not only has the passion for modelling and fashion but also PR. He works at a leading PR, marketing and advertising agency in Uganda.
He gets his inspiration from models who have shattered convention like Chantelle Brown, Shaun Ross, Erika Linder and Carmen Dell’Orefice to mention but a few.
Standing at 5’7, he has already been part of some prestigious fashion and commercial shoots and most notably featuring in the 40 days-40 models collection which is a showcase of Uganda’s top 40 models.
Notable is his macho aesthetic that has given him the Alpha male look and aura. He is a commercial, fitness, photography, and editorial model.
