What if you are invited to meet American popstar Beyoncé? Yes Queen Bey. Leave alone the idea of working her, entertain the dream of just being at her magestic presence.

The presence of America’s greatest female singer of color ever to grace the stage in the modern era. Would you turn it down? Well, one man did exactly that, South Africa’s Refiloe Maele Phoolo popularly known as Cassper Nyovest.

Cassper had exactly that same opportunity last month during the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Music Festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

According to the rapper, he was invited by “the lead singer of one of the biggest bands in the world” to watch Beyoncé perform live at the event.

He stated on Twitter that he could have met Beyoncé through the invitee had he accepted the offer to fly to the US. The Doc Shebeleza hit maker, however, turned it down due to what he called self-disciplined in order not to skip work.

“I was invited to go Watch Beyoncé this weekend but I have to work. The crazy thing is, I was invited by the lead singer of one of the biggest bands in world, I probably would’ve met Beyonce through him. I almost packed my bags and left but the way my self-discipline is setup…..” Posted Cassper.

Beyoncé would later headline the show with an historic performance laced with a surprise act with her former Destiny Child group members. It was aptly nicknamed “Beychella” seeing sales of their respective songs and albums skyrocket.

On his part, Cassper is fresh from Fill-up-the-dome tour where he filled the Orlando Stadium with 60,000 fans and followed it up with a 68,000 audience at the FNB Arena.

This showstopper is coming to Kenya! You have that opportunity to witness the hottest name in the game at the moment live at the TGR Festival on 26th May 2018 at The Ngong Racecourse.
