Over the years Toro has been known to produce some of the finest artists in the country. Musicians like Juliana, A Pass, Aziz Azion and many more hail from the Rwenzori region.
But none among this new generation has excelled at singing in the native language like this new sensation Carol Kay.
Carol Kay currently has three songs off her 10 song album that she will be dropping next year in May. Already off the album are singles such as Nkugambe, Maraika, and Professor.
Caro Kay recently won two Awards for the best female artist, and Best video in the just concluded Rwenzori Teen Awards. Her new Single Professor has taken Kampala by storm and is receiving enormous airplay on both TVs, Radios and clubs.
The 19-year-old singer is signed under the biggest label in the western region, Deconcept Music. She is also a medical practitioner who just completed her nursing studies.
