MC Ollo has opened up about his decision to return to NBS Television just months after leaving for a brief stint at NTV Uganda.
Ollo shared that NBS has always held a special place in his heart, and despite his departure, he continuously thought about the station, recognizing it as the platform that significantly contributed to his career growth.
MC Ollo expressed his deep admiration for NBS Television’s management, particularly highlighting the influence of Kim Kariisa, the station’s boss.
According to him, it’s rare to find a leader like Kim, who genuinely cares about the professional and personal growth of his employees. When Kariisa reached out to him with an offer to return, Ollo felt compelled to carefully consider the opportunity. After thoughtful deliberation, he concluded that rejoining NBS was the right decision.

Reflecting on his time at NTV Uganda, MC Ollo made it clear that there were no issues with anyone at the station.
He parted on good terms, appreciating the experience and lessons he gained during his tenure. However, the call from NBS was too significant to ignore, especially given the station’s commitment to nurturing young talent, particularly those from Generation Z.
Mr. Kim called me to come back home. You know he loves Gen Z, and he’s a good boss who gives people many chances to grow. This place allowed me to discover my true self, regardless of what I went through. It was a blessing in disguise.
