Self proclaimed King of the MIC, MC Kats will be the official Emcee as Tanzania’s Ali Kiba performs at Hockey grounds in Lugogo. Ugandan singers John Blaq and Sheebah will be performing too on the night. Ali Kiba will be performing live in Kampala on Friday 13th September 2019. This will be the second time after his first in 2016.
The show that will be at Lugogo Hockey Grounds will be organized by Nexus Events, a new events company. “Expect the best sound and lighting” organisers stressed. Born as Ali Saleh Kiba, the Tanzanian singer is known for songs like ‘Mwaana’, ‘Seduce Me’, ‘Chekecha’, ‘Aje’, ‘Kadogo’ e.tc.Ali Kiba released his album Cinderella which broke record as the best selling album in East African countries including Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda. He is best known for his hit songs Mwana, “Aje” , “Chekecha Cheketua” “Cinderella”, “Nakshi Mrembo”, “Usiniseme,” “Dushelele”, “Single Boy with Lady Jaydee”, “Mapenzi”, “Yana Run Dunia”, and “Macmuga”, and for his collaboration with R. Kelly and other African musicians on the One8 project.
