MC Kats a renowned TV personality and one of the top city emcees says he has finally laid down his tools as an emcee.
Kats revealed in a recent post on his Facebook timeline that he is finally retiring from his longtime job as a professional emcee at night clubs, that is if the post is to be believed anyway. He continues to say in the same post that he will offer his services for free to any night club if they can give in to his request of playing Ugandan music for one straight hour.
He posted:
“Hve made up my mind I retired frm mcing in nite clubs bt am gona di it 4 free if ur club cn gve me 1hour of ug music…”
This comes in the wake of a recent spat between local artistes and deejays that was sparked off by a post by Bebe Cool on his Facebook timeline escalating into a social media storm. MC Kats’ gesture can only be interpreted as a move to show support for Uganda Music. As they always say actions speak loud than words, we can now only hope club owners take advantage of this incentive.
Way to go Kats!
