MC Kats delivers message of hope on World Aids Day

Renowned stage Mcee at the same time media personality, Katamba Edwin has lit candle of hope and love to fellow people living with HIV Aids.

Speaking to at the Awareness ceremony organized in Kampala by the Uganda Aids Commission to commemorate the World Aids Day, the self-proclaimed ‘King of the Mic’ who is recently confessed his HIV positive status revealed how living with the deadly disease has not distorted his dreams and aspirations since childhood.

He further asserts the fact that he has been the best in Uganda when it comes to Mceeing despite being HIV positive.

“Having HIV has not stopped me from achieving any of my dreams. I have been the king of the mic in Uganda since I was a teenager,” MC Kats said.

Consequently, Kats stands in solidarity with all people living with or affected by HIV, and urges the public to remember friends and family who have died from AIDS-related illnesses.

World AIDS Day, designated on 1st December every year since 1988, is an international day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection and mourning those who have died of the disease.

Government and health officials, non-governmental organizations, and individuals around the world observe the day, often with education on AIDS prevention and control.
