News reaching our desks is that Uganda Police Force has arrested the Police officer who is said to have masterminded the humiliating of City Mcee, Mukisa Kimenyi a.k.a MC Casmir last week.

According to a statement issued by Uganda Police on Monday, its identified that Inspector of Police, Julius Ogwang Of Kira Road Police Station criminalized and responded to the shameful incident of adultery, a purely civil matter.
The tormenting incident saw MC Casmir and the yet unidentified lady, exposed, arrested and interrogated on camera, in a manner that violated their privacy.
Police notes that adultery is no longer a criminal offence in Uganda.
A person can only report their matter to the police if one elopes with someone’s wife or husband and stays with them including in a lodge for several day

Last week, we witnessed an incident where a shameful incident of adultery, a purely civil matter, was criminalized and responded to by inspector of police, Julius Ogwang Of Kira Road Police Station. The two victims were arrested and interrogated on camera, in a manner that violated their privacy. Adultery, is no longer a criminal offence in our country. Therefore, criminalizing it, is an act of unprofessionalism and abuse of authority, which the force cannot tolerate.
After the incident last week, Casmir vowed to fight for justice in the incident that has since greatly demeaned his reputation.
