It was such an amazing ceremony when the First Lady Janet Museveni visited Mbarara town recently during the “Western Go Green” campaign that had been previously launched by the President of Uganda in Kampala.
While at the event that attracted people of all backgrounds at Booma grounds in Mbarara Municipality, the celebrities of Mbarara and Western Uganda in general were also given a chance to be part of it.
The team was led by Dr. Shy, a musician who doubles as a TV presenter on West, who while addressing the crowd asked the First Lady to give them a chance and take a photo with them. The MC of the day identified as Ndugu Okwi was hesitant only to see the first lady moving to where they were. They all rushed, stepping on each other’s toes to be close to the First Lady.
They were all fighting to shake hands with the First lady who could only reach about 4 of them. Others were seen putting on gloomy faces because they weren’t able to grab such an opportunity.
