It’s well known that it’s now two times that the Jamaican-American musician Mavado has made a no-show in Uganda after pocketing large chunks of money from our promoters.
Mavado, currently signed under a label in the US under the stewardship of Ricky Ross, was meant to perform in Uganda late last year but failed to show up.
BigEye.ug has established the actual reasons why Mavado didn’t show up. Yes, many have wrote about this but no one really seemed to have reached the the far we have gone.
Our reliable source have revealed that it was not because of money that Mavado did not show up and he may never perform in Uganda.
According to a close pal to the promoter that was behind Mavado’s concert, Mavado’s payment was made early enough but the musician deliberately refused to come because he was occupied with juicy ladies at the time of his flight to Uganda.
More dimes were promised to him but he still insisted that his ladies were more important than Uganda as a country and therefore could not imagine abandoning them to catch a flight to Uganda.
It’s upon these grounds that he got a row with his management as they tried to convince him that he openly informed them that he was never interested in coming to a poor Uganda.
He therefore ordered his management to refund the part payment. If you have always wished to see this guy perform live in Uganda, sorry the dude is likely never to come.
