Maurice Kirya is very excited over his cafe, The Sound Cup, making one year in business. The cafe that is said to have taken its proprietor a period of eight years making research, was opened up on 2nd November last year at Garden city. This cute coffee joint with tasty good food, a homey musical setting and quite friendly prices has been visited by most Ugandan celebrities especially musicians crediting it for its lovely service.
Maurice, who could not hold his excitement thanked his clients, friends and fans who have made his sound cup exist for the last 365 days by posting this on his facebook page:
“Today is a special day, The Sound Cup has turned one year! Thanks to all our clients, friends, and fans! We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you loving our spot! Can you imagine it’s been 365 days of hard and passionate customer service? I am proud to have the coolest, funkiest and the best employees anyone would pray for! They have all become my family and have had my back and i did the same for them, all these achievements are fruits from their dedication!
My restaurant Managing Director and Brother Lenny, young talented driving force of the restaurant, love you bro, and thank yoy for making this the coolest restaurant in town!
My financial adviser Catherine Amai, the most intelligent and calm lady i know, you had a tough time helping me grow, you have done a great job with me, let’s make that paper baby!! Heheheh ahem ahem.”
The Mwooyo music singer is also excited since he will soon be celebrating his birthday as guitarist Myko Ouma performs at his Sound Cup restaurant. He’ll also release his new song and its video at the same time.
