Mwooyo singer Maurice Kirya and proprietor of the Sound Cup café based at Garden City Kampala is a man who has been connected to many city babes. One of such babes is Flavia Tumusiime of Capital FM among others. Kirya maintains that he is not in any relationship especially with Flavia (whom he calls a close friend) despite being spotted with her several times in compromising situations. According to Kirya, he has other things to focus on other than love and marriage.
While talking to a local tabloid, the musician known for his “Bodaboda” song revealed that he has no woman in his life at the moment and that he would never go back to his ex-lover Jemimah.
“I don’t make returns,” he said. “Once I take a step and move on. I am living a wonderful life without her and am now better off.”
When he was asked about marriage, the Soul afro and RnB singer had no kind words for the interviewer. “Like I have always said, I do not know when I will really get married. I believe marriage is not an appointment. It is something that should be done in a time that best fits it. When two people mutually agree, until then, I have no answer,” he said.
Kirya who has worked with several stars among whom is Tanzania’s A.Y seems to be secretive about his love life, but one thing is clear, he is not taking back his ex-girlfriend pastor Kyazze’s daughter.
