Maurice Kirya, CEO of The sound cup cafe, seems to have well planned resolutions for the year 2015. The Garden city roof top based Sound Cup cafe will kick off the year with an art exhibition dubbed “Unwritten Thoughts” on 08th of this month.
In the Unwritten Thoughts art exhibition is where music will meet art for a common cause “conservation awareness”. Unwritten Thoughts will be hosted by Roberta Jean Marie, the 1st runner up for Miss Tourism Uganda.
“Art meets music and food @thesoundcup. #JAN8THWe have only one planet and we need to conserve it. Mind blowing art by Roberta Jean-Marie , good food, amazing poetry and music all at The sound cup on the 8th of January 2015. Don’t dare to miss it!,” reads a post on the Sound Cup facebook page.
On top of music performances from several artistes including Maurice Kirya himself, there will be other remarkable performances from Herbert Ssensamba and Linda Nabasa in a poetry session.
Gates will be open early on Thursday evening and entry is free.
