Maureen Nantume has today given back to Muslims as their fasting period comes to an end. She donated several food items to villages in Mityana.
She posted about the charity drive on social media: “I thank the almighty for a good sunny day he has provided to all of us this last Friday of the holly month of Ramadan which we’ve used to provide to those who have been fasting and praying to Allah for their well being and the gift of life #Kusibuluula. Blessed is the hand that gives than the one that takes only. I want to thank the entire Maureen family for making this a job well done. I pray to God he appreciates the gifts of our sweat. Mityana has been the main municipality and Dibulungi and Mbaliga were the villages we’ve visited.”
