Kadongo Kamu singer Mathias Walukagga reunited all people that hail from the greater Masaka area, his hometown, at his concert at Freedom City last Friday. But none of his fans had the slightest idea of the surprise costume that he had for them. He turned up dressed like a nalongo in his traditional Gomesi wear.
Although he was funny to look at in the female attire that he rocked on stage as he danced for his fans, many believe that the singer could have run broke and couldn’t afford to buy a real costume for his show.
Walukaga didn’t stop at the Gomesi, he also smeared makeup all over his bearded manly face to the utter horror of some fans.
“I couldn’t believe what I was looking at. I didn’t know whether he was a man or a woman. But I didn’t care, it was a night of fun and he surely entertained me and my friends,” said Sekamatte who attended the concert.
