Singer and politician Mathias Walukagga is currently facing an emotional turmoil after DNA tests revealed that most of his children are not biologically his, including his firstborn.
Walukagga, who has children from several different women, initially accepted all of them without questioning their paternity.
However, when other men began to claim the children, he decided to take a step he never anticipated: he subjected all his children to DNA testing. The results were devastating. Out of the seven children he believed to be his, only two were confirmed as biologically related.

The Mayor expressed his deep disappointment, especially regarding the older children who are old enough to comprehend the situation.
He recounted how he had been living with one of the older children, only to be faced with the stark reality brought on by the test results. This prompted him to contact the mothers of his children to discuss the findings.
In a bid to protect their reputations and the dignity of their families, the mothers have requested that Walukagga refrain from speaking publicly about the issue. They expressed concern that disclosing the information could cause embarrassment and distress for the children involved.
“I don’t know if there are people who have ever been disappointed like I was disappointed when I did DNA for all my children. Out of the seven children I thought were mine, only two turned out to be actually mine,” Walukagga lamented.
