Busiro seeks a double win in their pursuit to qualify for the semi-finals of the Masaza cup. Head coach Robert Kakanga says his team will be looking forward for a-home-and-away win starting Sunday at the Masaza Cup quarter final in their tie against rivals Bugerere County. Busiro are currently undergoing their residential training in in Entebbe ahead for their trip to Kayunga district on Sunday to play Bugerere in the first leg of the quarterfinals.
“Our boys are ready for any team and our plan is to beat Bugerere home and away and continue to semi-finals,” said Kakanga.
Busiro County will host the return leg next month at Bugonga pitch in Entebbe in their pursuit to try and win their first trophy of the 10year old tourney that was introduced in 2004.
Elsewhere, Kabula County will host Singo on Saturday at Lyandonde pitch. On Sunday Ggomba will host Buddu at PTC ground in Ggombe on Sunday while Kyadondo County will be up against Kyagwe at Kira Town council ground. Winners of the quarterfinal fixtures after two legs will progress to semi-finals.
