Urban TV’s Mary Luswata is a special kind of woman. Instead of thanking fans for nominating her and making sure that she is on the list for the showbiz personality of the year, Mary ranted on TV and trashed the Zzina awards.
According to Luswata, she is far too important and morally upright to be nominated with the people she was put in the same category with. Mary says that these people are not worthy of competing with her and she’d rather be scraped off the list.
“Everything was okay until I got to look at the list. How do you put me in the same category with Judith Heard, Desire Luzinda and Zari who are sick of Open Leg Syndrome and are known for nudity? How can you compare me to women who showed their privates to the whole world to gain fame, how do you do that?” Mary asked.
She then went on to attack King Lawrence who is the other nominee in the category. According to her, Lawrence is undeserving of the award.
“King Lawrence is a freaking joke. He has to borrow money to take pictures, how do you put me in the same category with him? I am insulted,” she added. “I request now to be put off the list.”
Mary then said that if any award company wants to include her in their awards, they should consider introducing the TV/Radio personality of the year award since that is where she belongs.
