Renowned band musician Mary Bata has voiced her apprehensions about performing at waterfronts or landing sites due to health reasons, citing a recent illness.

In an interview with a local TV station, Bata expressed her reluctance to return to such venues, stating that her body appears to react negatively to these environments.

Bata shared her concerns, stating, “I have ever been at the waterfront/landing site but I came back ill. So, I fear going there, my body I think is afraid of such a place.”

She further emphasized her apprehension by suggesting that any future invitations to perform at waterfronts would need to accommodate her health concerns.

The musician outlined her condition, indicating that she perceives her body’s reaction as a form of fear towards such locations. To mitigate the risk of health issues, Bata proposed a solution, stating, “Whoever wants me to go perform from that place, should be willing to hire a jet for me.”

Bata’s statement highlights the importance of considering health and safety concerns when planning performances, particularly in unconventional venues such as waterfronts.

Her insistence on a jet as a mode of transportation underscores the seriousness of her request and the need to prioritize her well-being.

The musician’s demands have sparked discussions within the entertainment industry regarding the accommodation of artists’ health needs during performances.

While some may view her requirements as extravagant, others recognize the necessity of ensuring performers feel comfortable and secure in their working environments.

As Bata’s stipulations set a precedent for performers advocating for their health and safety, it prompts event organizers and stakeholders to consider implementing measures to address such concerns adequately.

This includes providing alternative transportation options to accommodate performers with specific health requirements.
