Singer Mary Bata has been popularly known for doing band music till last week when she shocked many of her fans after she released a dancehall song with Nutty Neithan titled Mulimuki.

In a recent interview, Mary Bata indicated that she switched to dancehall music to attract the youth audience that hasn’t been enjoying her music.

“I’m trying to show my fans that there is another Mary Bata inside me that they didn’t know about. But, still, as a talented artiste I can sing all music genres,” said Mary Bata.

She however added that this doesn’t mean she has quit band music revealing that she will still do band songs besides dancehall and other music genres.
