It was all tears at the Geoffrey Lutaaya’s New Eagles band auditions at Bat Valley when a contestant sang one of Martin Angume’s songs. Martin (rip) died after a long battle with illness a year ago.

The contestant sang one of the songs by the deceased musician and one of the judges, Betty couldn’t help but cry as tears rolled down her cheeks. It was as though Martin’s ghost was back since the contestant’s voice was so similar to the “switch” singer.
An emotional lot of people at the auditions led by Betty Mpologoma then moved to the stage and gave the contestant money for being so talented and for singing a song they loved so much done by an artiste they believed in.
Judges Joe Tabula, Joanita Kawalya, Joseph Batte and Eddie are looking for musicians to join New Eagles band. Over 2800 musicians have auditioned for a chance to join the band.
We will keep you posted.
