The “Swiririri” crooner who touched down at Entebbe International Airport in the wee hours of Thursday, November 10, 2022, received a glamorous welcome from top Ugandan songstress Martha Mukisa.

Martha was stepping-in for her close friend and fellow singer Eddy Kenzo who is caught up with a busy schedule, arranging for his highly anticipated music festival slated for this weekend at Kololo Airstrip.

Mampi joins a star-stubbed lineup of several foreign artists arraigned to showcase at the 2015 BET Award Winner’s music festival.

In Uganda, Mampi is fabled for her “Why Remix” song featuring now singer cum politician Bobi Wine, a jam that took Uganda by-a-storm.

Born on August 4, 1986 real names Mirriam Mukape boasts as one the top female artists on the continent with phenomenal music albums; Maloza (2005), Chimo ni Chimo (2007), Natural Born Star (2012) all under her discography.
