Maro, Rachel Magoola honoured in USA

Ronald Maro receives Twegaite international achievement Award

Local musicians, Ronald Maro and Rachel Magoola have been honoured in USA.

The two singers, who hail from Busoga region, were rewarded with the Twegaite international achievement Award for promoting Lusoga language and Busoga at large across the globe.

The award was presented by the RT honorable speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga at a dinner held at Gaylord National Resort in Maryland, Washington DC that concluded the 4-day  Twegaite International Convention.

Twegaite International Convention seeks to bring together Basoga and their friends in the Diaspora with a commitment to the development of Busoga and Uganda.​
