Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has insisted the German champions could be beaten by Manchester United in their Tuesday’s Champions League quarter final clash at Old Trafford, He warns his side that the Red Devils are very dangerous opponents.
Pep Guardiola’s Men, who wrapped up the Bundesliga title in record quick time, face the Struggling United , who are only in seventh place in the Premier League and are on course to have their worst season ever in a quarter of a century.
But the Spaniard Tactician is determined that Moyes’ side are still strong enough to beat the defending European champions should they deliver their very best form.
“Manchester United are one of the world’s best teams,” The 43-year-old told reporters in a news conference in Manchester on Monday.
“It doesn’t matter what situation they’re in right now.
“They have good players. These two games could be the best two performances of their season. They can beat us.
“They are one of the world’s most important clubs. They have great players; it’s an honour to be here.”
