unitedheadA superfan of Manchester United Football Club has changed his name to Mr. Manchester United and tattooed the team’s logo on his forehead to prove his dedication to the club.

The superfan – whose real name is Zdravkov Levidzhov – from Bulgaria has spent over a decade trying to convince courts in his homeland to accept his new name but when local police refused to put United as his surname on his national ID card he protested by having the team’s logo tattooed on his forehead.

The 50-year-old builder, who speaks no English, told The Sun newspaper via a translator: “Now whenever someone asks my name, I point to my forehead and smile!

“The tattoo’s my ID card. People don’t look at me in a funny way, they look in admiration.

“It makes me stand out and proves my loyalty to United.”
