Musician Katumba who has been in hospital since early May is now on prayer support from Mama Fiina and Bukedde’s Flavia.
Speaking about his condition from her shop in Natete, Mama Fiina revealed that the singer’s condition is turning bad every second that passes by and requested the general public to pray for him.
Mama Fiina also suggested that traditional cleansing could be the next step for Katumba if prayers don’t work any time soon.
It is also at the same time that Bukedde’s Flavia came out and asked people to help pray for the singer. “Banange Mamuli Katumba yetaaga obuyambi bwa buli well-wisher. Pray for him,” she said.
Mamuli collapsed early May due to high blood glucose and went into comma for a few hours before he was rushed to hospital and given medical care. His relatives and friends who were very worried about his life started praying as doctors did their best to save him.
“He was passing around in the market speaking to his fans when he suddenly fell on the ground and went silent. He looked dead to many and some of the fans could be heard weeping,” said a snoop who rushed to Kibuye moments after the musician collapsed recently.
The singer is known among fans for his songs; Nandudu Embale, Emboozi Ya Kafeero and Abakkazi.
