Phillip Akugizibwe aka Selecta Phila, a student at Makerere University, managed to beat 19 other competitors to emerge winner in the KFM radio presenter talent search.
The third year student of architecture at Makerere University received his accolade at club Play last Friday where Anthony Glencross, managing director at Monitor Publications, also handed him a certificate.
According to Ben Mwine, who was the competition coordinator, Phillip’s show which is about unveiling new superstars and new Ugandan music, will run every Saturday from 1oam to 12pm.
