Mahad Ssekandi was an ordinary Ugandan working and residing in Kampala until one day when he went missing. Mahad is said to have been lost since 2017 and to date not many of his friends and family have heard from him.

However, the good news is he is alive and in hiding. Mahad Ssekandi was in July 2017 caught kissing a one Hakim with whom it they shared an intimate relationship. Apparently Hakim is a son of a prominent government official and the case was followed up to the last bit. Mr.Zaake Robert who was the them village chairman smoked them out of their house and dragged them to Kabalagala police station where they spend a night.

Mahad was expelled from his then village in writing and his property thrown out. Hakim, Mahad’s said lover had his relatives visit him at police and eventually bail him out but the story was different for Mahad. Hakim’s father did not let go easily. He accused Mahad of teaching his son sodomy and also promised to hunt him even after his days in a police cell.

According to sources, Mahad was blacklisted at Ministry of internal affairs and cannot be granted a visa to any other country and that has since 2017 kept him hiding in Uganda. On 31st July 2017, Ssekandi Mahad found his way out of police but has since gone quiet and in hiding.
