Legendary Ugandan reggae singer Madoxx Sematimba is set to thrill his fans and reggae music lovers in a mega live concert.

The singer, who has been a headliner at different local shows since his return on the music scene, will now stage his own concert dubbed “The Legend” this October.

The concert will be held on October 4th at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel with subsequent shows at Freedom City and Trans Africa, Jinja on 6th and 12th October respectively.

“My fans have been asking when I will finally hold a solo concert,” Madoxx told media during a press conference held at the UBL offices on Friday. “I have taken my time planning for this and I am now ready to give my fans and reggae lovers the absolute best.”

Madoxx, who has two albums to his name, Tukolagane and Abato, is popular for songs like “Namagembe”, “Tukolagane”, “Omukwano Gwafe”, “Eddembe”, “Nakatudde”, and “Easy” among others.

Organised by Sprout Africa in partnership with Pilsner Lager, the concert will feature other top artistes Juliana Kanyomozi, and Eddy Kenzo among others.

“Maddox is one of the celebrated Ugandan musicians and as Pilsner Lager we are happy to be part of this event where we get to celebrate our very own artists with very rich music that has stood the taste of time.” Said Simon Lapyem, the acting Brand Manager Pilsner Lager, Uganda Breweries.
