Local comedy duo, Mad Rat and Chiko are planning something big for their fans this year.
We have learnt that the comic stars are set to hold their maiden solo comedy show. Although the show is still in its early stages of planning, the duo has asserted that it will be held mid this year.
“We shall hold a mega comedy show this year,” Mad Rat revealed. “We want to show the world what we are made of. We will perform for 3 straight hours.”
“We will soon announce the actual date and venue, but it will be around June or July.” Chiko added.
Meanwhile, Mad Rat and Chiko have been nominated in the recently announced Zzina Awards in the Best Comedian category. They will battle for the coveted award with some of the top local comedians including Salavdo, Anne Kansiime, Mariachi and Alex Muhangi among others.
