Lydia Jazmine Expresses Displeasure Over Azawi’s Complaints About Her Music Release Schedule

Songbird Lydia Jazmine has recently expressed her discontent with fellow singer Azawi’s criticism regarding her music release schedule.

In an online interview, Jazmine addressed Azawi’s comments, stating that it was disrespectful for her to dictate when she should release her songs.

“I heard Azawi say so in one of her interviews, but it’s disrespectful for her as a writer to dictate when I should release the song. I have so many writers like Ronnie On Dis One whose songs I am yet to release, but they are not complaining like her,” Jazmine expressed during the interview.

Azawi, known for her talent as both a singer and songwriter, had voiced her disappointment with Jazmine’s timing for releasing music during an interview on Galaxy TV’s ‘Deep Talk With Mr. Henrie’ show.

The Swangz Avenue singer, who has written some of Jazmine’s hits, including “Omalawo” and “Binji” featuring Fik Fameica, pointed out that Jazmine’s tendency to delay releases affects them as writers.

During the interview, Azawi highlighted that Jazmine often delays releasing songs even when the market’s tastes and preferences have shifted, impacting their collaborative art efforts.

Azawi, who has penned some of Jazmine’s most significant ballads, expressed concern over the delay in releasing their collaborative work.

It’s evident from Azawi’s remarks that there is tension surrounding the timing of Jazmine’s music releases, particularly concerning the songs they have worked on together.

As both artists navigate their careers, it remains to be seen how they will address and resolve this issue going forward.
