Kajjansi based side, Lweza Football Club has confirmed five new signings in this January transfer window ahead of an eagerly awaited second round of the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL).

Having finished the first round in 12th position with a tally of 16 points and only 4 points above relegation, Lweza will be keen to avoid the circumstances of last season at all possible costs.

The new recruits include; Juma Balinya, Paddy Muhumuza, Michael Kabanda, Sula Bagala and Mustafa Nsereko with Juma having been signed from Djibouti premier club, Djibouti F.C while the other four have all been free agents.

The Joseph Mutyaba coached side has, however, already lost some players in this window with Mike Sserumaga and left back Farouk Musisi leaving for Sports Club Villa as well as Yoweri Kisakye and Sadala Ddumba.
