Academy Award winning actress Lupita Nyong’o has bagged a major role in an upcoming Hollywood film.
The 12 Years A Slave star has joined the cast of the much-awaited Marvel film, Black Panther .
In the movie, Lupita will tackle the role of Nakia.
In addition to the Kenyan screen star, producer Kevin Feige revealed on Saturday, actor Chadwick Boseman will portray the Black Panther, Michael B. Jordan will play Erik Killmonger and Danai Gurira will star as Okoye in the film.
In a new featurette video released at Comic-Con, fans also got a behind-the-scenes look at Boseman’s Black Panther introduction in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War , which will be available on Digital HD starting September 2 this year.
Black Panther is due to hit theaters in the US and UK on July 6, 2018.
No release dates have been announced yet for elsewhere in the world.
