The East African starlets – comedian Anne Kansiime and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o – looked as thick as thieves recently in Kampala, Uganda where Lupita was shooting her upcoming movie, The Queen of Katwe. Although the two entertainment heavy-weights may not be taking the BFF oath yet, they have definetly taken a liking to each other.

Lupita’s next project is being directed by Mira Nair and the film based on a true story about Uganda’s chess champion is anticiptaed to create quite the buzz come award season. The dynamic duo are award-winning hollywood certified magnets and we cant wait for the movie to come out. The actress has been in Uganda for just about a month, and word is that she is now headed to South Africa to shoot some of the scenes in the same movie.
