We have exclusively learnt that one local TV station allegedly barred its staff from taking part in the Tubonga Nawe  video release party that took place last Friday.

The party that saw most top Ugandan artistes dine with the President was supposed to also see some of the top emcees do their job at the event.

However, we have learnt that one TV station which they work for issued a statement stopping them from attending the party citing that it was partisan and conflicts with the station’s rules.

Three emcees missed bagging 1 million shillings each for hosting the event as other emcees from other stations took on the event.
