The second round of the Uganda Premier League (UPL) which will be renamed the FUFA Azam Premier league is set to return in a fortnight on the Tuesday 17th February when Sports Club Villa takes on Jinja based side Sadolin Paints. The clash will be televised live on Azam TV.
The 16-time record champions SC Villa will host Sadolin Paints at the Nakivubo stadium after shifting back to the Villa Park from the Ssaza grounds in Mityana where they hosted all their first round home games.
Villa finished the first round of the UPL second on the table with 33 points from 15 matches and just two behind the unbeaten table leaders Vipers while Sadolin Paints are 9th on the table after gathering 18 points from the first round of the season.
The last clash between the two sides at the Bugembe Stadium in Jinja is what sealed off their first round of the league however their game ended prematurely due to chaos. A boardroom decision was made which favored SC villa thus walking away with three points and three goals.
