Following news that former NTV News anchor Rosemary Nankabirwa had finally succumbed to cancer, several local celebrities have come out to pass on their condolence messages to the bereaved family. Rosemary died today at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi after she was pulled off life support.
Here are some of the condolence messages from select local celebrities:
Socialite Judith Heard – Live life to the fullest. If you are not sure of the above maybe you should ask yourself …If you died today would you be happy with the life you lived? If the answer is no maybe it’s time to change something. It’s taken me this long to fully understand this due to a death of a very young and beautiful girl. I never knew her personally, but I wish I did. RIP ROSEMARY
Bebe Cool’s wife Zuena Kirema – It has been confirmed by her family members that Rosemary has just passed on…may her soul RIP.
NTV News anchor Josephine Karungi – Thank you for all your support. I believe she is smiling down on you and thinking what wonderful people you all are. I am sad she couldn’t thank you herself.
She has rested. The fight against cancer doesn’t end though. We continue doing what we can.
All the contributions that came in after will go to the family to help them through this.
Blessings to you all and again…Thank you for standing with Rosemary.
Musician Desire Luzinda – It’s on a sad note that I inform you that Rosemary has breathed her last.
Appreciation goes to everyone of you that has participated in my shoe sale campaign,20 pairs of shoes were bought in a blink of an eye yesterday and as over whelming messages have been flooding my inbox,I continue to thank you for the spirit.
I will give the money collected to Josephine Karungi of NTV as a condolence message from Desire and Fans. RIP
Events emcee and TV host MC Kats – R.I.P you fought strong but God gives Life God takes Life
TV host Douglas Lwanga – She did fight a good fight…. ROSE MARY NANKABIRWA REST IN PEACE…May God judge your soul with mercy.
