The local film industry has lost promising talent in budding actor Umar Katende.
The 22-year-old actor is said to have passed on in the wee hours of today morning at Mulago hospital where he had been admitted for over a week in critical condition.
According to his close relatives, Umar had been recently put off life support but was still very weak. He had been nursing strong abdominal pains.
He will be laid to rest today at his father’s home in Kabonge, Bombo.
