Liverpool FC youth coaches led by Andy Nicholas, the head of soccer schools at the Liverpool FC International Football Academy, conducted a session for local coaches on Tuesday.

At least 25 Ugandan coaches attended the session, where they were taken through various ways in which Liverpool trains youth and grooms them to be international stars.

Andy travelled with Craig Malley and Daniel Reece; two of the finest youth football coaches in England.

Meanwhile, the Liverpool coaches are in the country to conduct a football camp for kids where at least 480 kids have been registered. The camp will also be headlined by Liverpool legend John Barnes who is expected to arrive in the country today.

Vodafone Uganda decided to partner with Liverpool FC’s international football academy to empower kids, both girls and boys, who want to become big football players in future. The partnership was launched in March.
