Lily Kadima is a Ugandan singer, songwriter and live music performer who is passionate about music, culture and art. She is an Afro-pop fusionist with a raspy and soulful sound that is manifested in her live performances, creative visual and audio projects.
Music to her is a passion, a medium through which she exercises freedom of art to create, empower, share information and entertain her fans and society with different aspirations about love, life, injustices, culture, family and art. Lily is an inexhaustible stage performer who has consequently earned a house hold name in the music world since 2013 with her single “Akuloga” which was released off the fusion band album.
Lily Kadima launched her solo career in August 2016 after a break through with her single Nazaala at the UNCC where she unveiled her act as a live performer. Having performed in bars hotels, weddings, church, cooperate parties and festivals like pearl Rythm 2016, doadoa artist market 2017,bayimba 2017, it has convinced her fans that she is the jewel of the Nile.
April 2018 Lily Kadima released a 13 track album titled “Ighe olinaki” literally talking about what you have to offer and appreciating our heritage as Africans. Kadima has used four languages on the album thus Lusoga, Luganda, English and Swahili with different music styles she has experienced. Some of the songs include why are you slow, someone loves you, Ighe olinaki, Nkulembera, Nazaala ,Nagalyaaku and many more.
Lily Kadima is set for a live concert on 4th august 2018 at Jinja sailing where she intends to interact with her fans in a jungle experience.
