Despite a disseminated perception that there is no money in gospel music which is quite true, musicians in this category are still trying to do their best to step up their game. This can be traced from the videos that they have been able to release in the past two years.
The recent gospel desired hit maker of ‘nonya omu’, Levixone, has gone ahead to shoot a new video for his reggae zouk fused song, “kangende noyo”. In this song, Levixone features the CEO of Buggy Empire Jay I where Washington works as a producer.
Jay I is known as one of the legend musicians in Uganda who lived in the days of Kid Fox and went to Japan for over 10 years and when he came back, he decided to go back to his roots and here he comes.
The video was yesterday kicked off with most of the scenes being shot in a certain hotel in Lungujja-Lusaze, Mengo. Some other parts were shot on the streets along Nsibambi Avenue in Mengo.
According to Levixone, this video has taken more than he expected even before reaching the editing suit and because of that, he anticipates it to be a class apart.
The video was short by Digo of D. Capital using a sonny 5D camera and a sonny VG30 capturing all behind the scenes and says, it’s likely to take him only two weeks before it’s ready to hit airwaves.
