City tycoon, SK Mbuga, who was arrested and charged in court for assaulting his lover Leila Kayondo, was this afternoon acquitted of all charges and set free.
Leila Kayondo couldn’t contain her joy after her man was cleared. She turned to her maker to offer her gratitude.
“I started the year on a sad note arising from this matter but thank God it has come to an end,” she said shortly after court dropped the case.
SK Mbuga on the other hand was very happy that the magistrate has made a fair ruling based on truth and justice. He promised to behave himself and stay out of trouble.
The tycoon was dragged to court after Leila reported an assault case to authorities. Although she changed her mind long the way, court decided to get to the bottom of the matter. He was granted a non-cash bail. After his case was heard, court dropped the charges.
