Forever upcoming musician, Leila Kayondo has been the talk of town after she was punched by her lover and city tycoon, SK Mbuga only for her to defend him when he was taken to court.
Our sources have revealed that this was not the first time that Leila was punched by her rich lover.
We have been told that on several occasions, Leila Kayondo who has been minting millions from Mbuga to finance her lavish lifestyle was battered by Mbuga. She even reported her to the parents.
Our source reveals that every time she would tell her parents, they would advise her to go back to Mbuga after seeing the new cars that he would give her.
“Things began with lots of pomp. He would take her to trips in Dubai, buy her cars, he even gave her an apartment. She was very comfortable until she started misbehaving. Of course Mbuga couldn’t take it, he boxed her day and night. One day he even pulled her from studio by the ears took her to the car and beat her up before pushing her out of the car and driving off. Every time he flogged her, she would turn up with dollars or a new ride,” the source revealed.
“She had even gone to her parents several times. Every time they saw a new ride after she had reported, they would call her on the side and advise her to stick by her man. No marriage is perfect, they would say,” the source added.
Last week, when Leila was enjoying the 10 million shillings that Mbuga had given her for her birthday party, the ‘Leero Tompoona’ singer decided to go and hang out with her Congolese male friend. When Mbuga found them at Munyonyo, he punished her like a prisoner in Guantanamo bay.
“I found her in a place I didn’t expect her to be in, at a time I didn’t expect her to be there, with a person I didn’t expect her to be with. That is why I did what I did,” Mbuga told us after the punching spree. He was taken to jail and later court where he was released on a 5 million shillings non cash bail.
