With that mysterious tycoon SK Mbuga waking up to Leila Kayondo’s embraces, my hopes of swaying her to my heart hang by a thread.I hear he is bankrolling her career too. Someone shoot me now. These rich guys think they can have it all cant they??I hate these rich people. Leila is glowing and a feeling that she has discovered her worth comes to mind. I am struggling to make myself believe that Mbuga had nothing to do with it. Who am I kidding??????Of course he has everything to do with it. The spotlight is back in her corner with Leila looking forever rejuvenated and destined to curve something out of a career that was seemingly headed to the dogs. The reason is her new project AWO.This song rides on sexual undertones from beginning to end and you know how the Ugandan audience loves lyrics that talk about, “touch me here and there.”There is something about sex in a Ugandan song that will arouse the most senile of listeners. Typical afro-dancehall beat crafted by the perennial hitmaker Washington that is pumping as usual and lures you to the floor. Washington mastered that beat. Leila holds her own on this one to dispense criticism about her seemingly laughable career with some enticing lyrics ‘mbu’…..”Navigate me” and some other hogwash she talks about in her song. Her video is crisp too with handiwork from veteran video directors from Deddac and it’s quite a good look. This girl gets finer by the day (wink).Anyway passable song for a fairly talented girl. Okay not to be mean. It’s a decent song. Adios people.
