Leila Kayondo has become a target of blackmailers who are demanding Ugx 50 million from the singer. The unscrupulous individuals claim to be in hold of her Facebook account which they are now leveraging for a ransom.
One of the messages sent to the singer reads in part: “U want me to deactivate this account, send me 50 million to start up some business. I will deactivate otw.(sic)”
Leila seems unfazed by their threats although she is considering involving the authorities if they carry on with the threats.
She said,“I have been threatened naye by the way ngenda batwala ku police babakubbe emiggo.”
