Leila Kayondo seems to have turned into a con woman after failing to earn handsomely from her music. The singer has allegedly been working on this plan with her boy friend SK Mbuga, who is said to be involved in an illicit gold trade.
Our sources have learnt that the singer allegedly conned an Arab tycoon in Dubai of over Shs 150 Million in a fake gold deal. The Relaxing singer is already enjoying the dimes that were wired on her account a few weeks back. She has already started re-investing it in her L Kay boutique in Kabalagala on top of buying a big plot of land in Mukono and new Subaru Forester.
Last year there were reports that Producer Washington was arrested in Dubai after traveling with Mbuga and Leila under similar circumstances.
Most recently fellow singer Daxx Kartel was arrested in Congo after being implicated in a gold scandal.
